My name is Sina. I'm from San Francisco, California, born and raised. I would say that I'm a somewhat courageous person. I push myself to try new things and take risks, even though I'm shy. College is important to me because it will provide me with more opportunities in the future to better myself and better my family. I will be the first person in my family to go to college. I want to make them proud. Also, I learned people with a college education earn twice as much than someone with a high school diploma. I would say my parents are my biggest supporters because they push me to be something in this world; they push me to better myself and to succeed. An experience I wish to get out of this program is to be more open, to talk to new people and make new friends.
